I bought three of these for my kids who are now out of the house. My mom bought a similar lock box for myself and my four brothers when we moved out many years ago. It keeps prying roomates out of your private papers and other valuables.

I love the fact that there are no batteries involved and that you need BOTH the key and combination to open it. College students and single people may not need to access it for months at a time and one does not have to worry about the dreded dead battery and hassel to bypass an electronic keypad. The reaction from my kids is that it is perfect. Easy to stow and hide, Has a handle you can attach a teather to to prevent it walking off and one daughter said she "loves the color" (Posted on 6/22/2017)
